The Tong Chong Street Market Beer Festival 2025 is set to return with great excitement from 12-15 November 2025 at Taikoo Place’s newest dining and event destination, mhp by Tong Chong Street Market (short for mhp) — a dynamic ‘playground in the sky.’ This year, the festival partners with 8 local craft breweries and features 30 types of craft beer, offering an unforgettable experience for all food and drink lovers alike.
3 Hours Unlimited Craft Beer ‘Sky High’ Experience at One Island East
For the first time, the festival takes to the skies and lands on the 37/F of One Island East in Taikoo Place. Set against mhp’s vibrant backdrop — with a breathtaking 180-degree view of Victoria Harbour, Island East and Mount Parker – the Beer Festival is set to elevate the urban experience. Guests can enjoy a remarkable selection of craft beers bottomless for three hours, delicious food pairings from mhp’s menu, lively beer games – including Beer Pong, air hockey, a photo booth, claw machine, and live DJ performances.
Short for “my happy place,” mhp is a new dining destination where hearty comfort food meets a thriving eat-well lifestyle. Both under the iconic Tong Chong Street Market brand, mhp joins forces with the Beer Festival to present a memorable culinary journey, featuring a limited-time menu crafted exclusively for the festival experience.
mhp's Event Debut: Redefining Craft Beer and Food Culture
This year’s Beer Festival celebrates the vibrant local craft beer scene, featuring a selection across multiple categories in collaboration with 8 homegrown breweries – including Young Master Brewery. GREEN LIGHT, a limited-edition Pilsner, is crafted exclusively for the Beer Festival in partnership with mhp. Infused with sweet, refreshing notes of honeydew melon, GREEN LIGHT represents well wishes for smooth journeys ahead and pays tribute to the resilient, can-do spirit of Hongkongers.
Another highlight of the Beer Festival is the debut of the 12 Shui Wild Sour Ale, launched exclusively by Young Master Brewery to mark its 12th anniversary, Festival guests will have the opportunity to sample this distinctive limited-edition brew, which showcases the brewery’s innovative spirit and dedication to unique flavours.
The festival also introduces a vibrant selection of beers created by a lineup of breweries, featuring crisp Lagers, hoppy IPAs, Pale Ales. Some of those include:
Cha Chaan Teng Sour (茶餐廳酸啤) – crafted with Berliner Weisse, Gose, and Lambic styles with a uniquely tart and complex
Taxi Driver – representing the wildest green taxis of the New Territories, this heavy hitter delivers an explosive burst of flavours with notes of ripe mango, juicy pineapple, and zesty citrus
852 – this award-winning pale ale exudes tropical fruit notes that perfectly complement lighter dishes such as salads or seafood
Expanding beyond beer, the festival presents Hong Kong’s dynamic craft spirits scene, featuring local gin from N.I.P (無名氏) and Asian-inspired ready-to-drink highballs by HIGHERTHAN. A selection of artisan sodas and non-alcoholic beverages ensures an inclusive and exciting experience for all guests.
